Navigator maker TomTom wants to keep gross margin at around 40% in 2009, the same as achieved last year.
“We should try to maintain these levels in 2009,” chief executive Harold Goddijn told a shareholders meeting, Reuters reported.
Netherlands based TomTom last week refrained from updating its full-year outlook but said it was not abandoning it.
In February TomTom said it would sell 11m to 12m portable navigation device units in 2009, booking revenue of EUR1.4-1.6bn.
