Swedish Automobile’s name is to disappear with the news it will change to Spyker on 18 April.

The former owner of Saab says the name change is subject to approval by an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on 17 April.

“Assuming the decision of the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders shall be obtained on 17 April 2012, Swedish Automobile shall have its articles of association amended on 18 April 2012,” noted a short Swedish Automobile statement sent to just-auto from Holland.
