Navya and Insavalor, a subsidiary of Insa Lyon Research and Development have opened the Navya Academy by Insavalor to offer a range of training courses for those who work in new professions emerging from the industry.

The Academy is offering a range of training courses in the professions of: shuttle operator; commissioning officer; supervision technician and maintenance technician. The Academy will eventually integrate a related skills certification scheme.

“For several years, Insavalor has been involved in supporting companies whose field of activity is undergoing changes,” said Insavalor board member with responsibility for the project with Navya, Michel Descombes.

“With the creation of Navya Academy by Insavalor, we bring our expertise to skills engineering, with the opportunity to put our methodologies into practice within a technological and innovative industry.”

For his part, Navya COO, Jerome Rigaud added: “As a player in autonomous mobility, it is our responsibility to train professionals in these new fields who can contribute to the growth of these new solutions for smart and shared mobility.

“By facilitating transport, in particular, by reducing congestion in urban centres, we will improve our living conditions while continuing to raise our safety standards in a world in constant motion.”
