A production halt due to record temperatures cost a Russian automaker the equivalent of EUR12.8m or US$16.2m.
AvtoVAZ president Igor Komarov said at the Moscow motor show the one week suspension in production in early August cost the automaker about RUB500m. Komarov said he expected AvtoVAZ to partially compensate for the loss in the remaining months of the year.
