Last week saw the first safety belts produced under the joint venture between Delphi Automotive Systems and Ashimori Industry Co. following a trial run at Delphi’s Rimir plant in Mexico, writes El Financiero/Infolatina (17/10/00).
The joint venture – with Delphi holding a 51 per cent stake – aims to supply safety belts to both the US and other export markets.
