US buyers (and some other markets) also get a 2.5 litre, petrol turbo engine claimed to produce torque on par with a four litre V8.
Update cars have a new grille with standard LED headlights with integrated fog lamps, painted surfaces extend lower on the body, and there are new 17- and 19-inch wheel designs.
The interior, though most will need to check the previous model for comparison, appears genuinely all new, as Mazda claims, with only the steering wheel and small trim pieces carried over.

The carry over, standard, 2.5 litre naturally aspirated engine has cylinder deactivation. Most models will be sold with six speed, torque converter automatic transmission but a six speed manual is also on the menu.
