Maruti Suzuki India has resumed full production at its Gurgaon and Manesar factories after a maintenance closure brought forward following a fire at a supplier.

The shut-down was rescheduled three weeks earlier after a fire at supplier Subros' Manesar factory at the end of May.

"Due to the strenuous efforts made by all concerned, operations at MSIL's facilities in Gurgaon and Manesar have begun smoothly," the automaker said in a statement.

Manesar builds Suzuki's Baleno, Celerio, Swift, Ciaz (S-Cross) and Ertiga.

Gurgaon, Haryana plant models include the Alto, Ritz, Wagon R, Dzire, Gypsy, SX4, Eeco and Omni.
