Volkswagen Group Malaysia expects to introduce its locally assembled Jetta within a month, managing director Christoph Aringer said.

“With the introduction of the local model, the completely knocked down Jetta would join the Passat and Polo sedan and hatchback,” he said.

The current completely built up 1.4 turbo variant retails for RM151,888.

“The local model will be Volkswagen’s fourth variant to be assembled at DRB-HICOM Bhd’s factory in Pekan, Pahang,” Aringer told Business Times.
