The talks “do not cover the franchise for the other marques under the Fiat umbrella such as Fiat, Maserati, Lancia and Ferrari,” reportedly said Sime, which is involved in businesses such as power generation, plantations, and auto and heavy equipment distribution.
Sime said a further announcement will be made if and when it is appointed an Alfa Romeo distributor, Dow Jones added.
