BMW has launched the locally-assembled X3 SUV in Malaysia, building it at the company’s Kulim plant in Kedah state.
The X3 joins the 3-series, 5-series and X1 models at the plant and is expected to drive market share growth this year. The X3 xDrive20i went on sale on 12 January through the company’s 16-dealer network priced at MYR 323,000 (US$106,950).
