Leoni‘s nomination committee will propose the appointment of Klaus Rinnerberger to the supervisory board at the AGM on 19 May, 2021.
Rinnerberger will succeed Dirk Kaliebe, who has contributed to the stabilisation of business performance in recent months, with his restructuring and transformation experience.
Rinnerberger has more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry and will contribute in restructuring, financing and strategic development.
He has been a member of the board of directors of Pierer Industrie since 2010 and is currently also chairman of the supervisory board of SHW and deputy chairman of the supervisory board of Pankl.
Rinnerberger succeeds Kaliebe, who was judicially appointed as a member of the Leoni supervisory board in August, 2020 and whose mandate expires at the 2021 Annual General Meeting.
“With Klaus Rinnerberger, we are proposing an experienced industry manager to the Annual General Meeting, who has relevant management experience in the supplier industry,” said Leoni chairman, Klaus Probst.
