Lada has posted November sales up 14% to 29,163 units, with 11-month figures showing 279,008 registrations, up 17%.

Lada Vesta figures increased by 44%, while the Largus model demonstrated the highest level of sales growth in November breaking the 5,000 barrier. Lada Xray kept its leading positions in sales growth and boasted an increase of 71%, with 29,583 vehicles registered during the first 11 months of this year.

Lada commercial vehicles were up 16% for the first 11 months to record 8,816 sales.

The sales performance data come at the same time as Lada parent, AvtoVAZ CEO, Nicolas Maure, was appointed SVP, chairman of Eurasia Region to replace Denis Le Vot, who will take on new responsibilities within Renault- Nissan-Mitsubishi.

Maure will report to Groupe Renault chief performanance officer, Stefan Mueller and will join the Renault Management Committee (CDR).

He will also remain president and CEO of Togliatti headquartered AvtoVAZ.
