Lada says it sold 16,592 cars in overseas markets in the first half of 2018, a 64% increase compared to the results for the same period last year.
In June, 3,508 vehicles were sold outside Russia, which is 34% more than in June 2017 and the best result of the month for the last three years.
The countries with the best results of Lada sales in the first half of the year were Belarus and Kazakhstan.
In Kazakhstan for the first half of 2018, 5,854 Lada cars were sold. The Russian brand is the market leader, having increased its share from 17.8% to 22.4% for the first six months of 2018 compared to the same period in 2017.
Lada ranks first in Kazakhstan not only in sales but also in terms of production volume. The Republic assembles all the model range.
In Belarus in the first half of 2018, 4,206 Lada cars were sold, giving a market share of 18.4%. Compared to the same period in 2017, the increase was 9.4 percentage points.
