The North Macedonian unit of German car parts maker Kostal will invest EUR50m (US$53.6 million) in a new production line for chargers for electric and hybrid vehicles, the Skopje government.

The new production line will create 300 jobs, the government said in a statement cited by SeeNews.

The new investment cycle would be launched in July 2023 and should end in December 2026.

Kostal employs over 1,020 people in its production facility in North Macedonia’s Ohrid, the report added.
