Knorr-Bremse has completed its acquisition of tedrive Steering Systems based in Wülfrath, Germany, with the transaction approved by the antitrust authorities.

The acquisition of tedrive Steering means Knorr-Bremse will take over 320 employees, who work at two production plants in Wülfrath near Wuppertal (Germany) and at further production, sales and technical facilities in Istanbul (Turkey), Nabereznyje Chelny (Tatarstan, Russia), and Wixom (Michigan).

Applications for tedrive steering products are found in light commercial vehicles, buses and heavy-duty trucks, as well as special-purpose vehicles, SUVs and passenger cars.
