Kia Motors and Total Lubrifiants have renewed their partnership agreement for another five years with Total remaining Kia's "preferred" aftermarket lubricants supplier exclusively across a network of 5,500 dealers in 180 countries – including west European markets from 1 January, 2017.
Cooperation started in 2011.
Kia dealer networks will receive access to Total Quartz engine oils, specifically developed to optimize engines performance, reliability and improve fuel economy benefits, the partners claimed. The pair will also develop joint marketing service programmes aiming at increasing dealers' profitability, customer retention and customer satisfaction.
"We are delighted to extend our global cooperation with Kia Motors," said Pierre Duhot, general manager automotive division at Total.
"For the past 5 years, Total has demonstrated it has the worldwide coverage, strong marketing capabilities and high-quality lubricant technology to meet the needs of our networks," said Steven Yoon, head of the overseas service division at Kia.
