Kia has launched its new all-in-one app for customers in Europe, combining five existing digital platforms into one platform for vehicle control, charging and maintenance.
The Kia App’s European pilot marks the brand’s first regional launch outside Korea, which the company says underscores its commitment to digital innovation.
Kia says that by offering a single sign-in for users, the app provides a comprehensive suite of features that improve connectivity, charging, and vehicle maintenance.
The app’s backend infrastructure is designed to be stable and secure, with all customer data hosted within Europe.
Kia Europe president and CEO Marc Hedrich said: “The new Kia App is more than just a digital tool; it is a gateway to a seamless and intelligent mobility experience. By merging multiple services into one powerful app, we are making everyday interactions with Kia vehicles smarter, more efficient and fully connected to our customers’ lifestyles.”
The Kia App’s key features include remote vehicle control, enabling users to start their car, adjust climate settings, and check the charging status from afar.
It also offers navigation tools, EV route planning, a POI search, and driving insights, including a safety score.
For charging management, users can locate charging stations, manage contracts and tariffs, and view their charging history.
Additionally, the app simplifies maintenance and service by allowing online booking, dealer searches, and access to digital service records and manuals.
Existing users can transition smoothly to the new Kia App by logging in with their current Kia account credentials, ensuring their data and settings are preserved.
The app also supports shared access, allowing multiple drivers to use the same account.
Kia is planning to further enhance the app with features for business customers and fleet managers, as well as introducing flexible mobility solutions through Kia Drive.
In April 2025, Kia made its AI voice assistant available for EV3 drivers as part of a range of features covering improvements to voice control, connectivity, entertainment, and navigation.
