Tata Motors' Jaguar Land Rover sold 52,332 vehicles in November, up 10% year on year, driven by strong sales of Land Rover models.
owever, Jaguar brand sales were down 6.3% to 13,688 last month but up 24% to 163,522 year to date.
Land Rover sales rose 17% to 38,644 in November and 2% to 401,890 YTD.
Overseas markets showed the strongest retail sales growth (20%) with other markets also performing well. China (19%), UK (9%) and North America (8%) all showed increases with retail sales volumes in Europe down slightly (2%).
"November has been a robust month for Land Rover, driving sales up globally across all of our key regions. Jaguar sales have been more hard won but the future performance of both brands will be boosted as the new E-Pace goes on sale across the world and the new 2018 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport with plug-in hybrid capability go to market," said sales chief Andy Goss.
