Isuzu,7% owned by General Motors, reported that its Q3 sales and profits grew, but operating profit for April-December period fell 7.6%.


Net profit for the nine months sank 16%, due to increased spending on research and development, according to Reuters. Nine-month revenue grew 4.8% to 1.134 trillion yen.


Finanzen.net reported that third quarter net profits were up 11% thanks to an increase in sales. Turnover was up 14% to 396 billion yen. Net profit was 16.8 billion yen, up from 15.2 billion yen a year earlier.


Operating profit was up 3.4% to 21.4 billion yen.
