Toyota Motor won't buy Takata air bag inflators which use ammonium nitrate as a propellant but will consider buying other types if they are confirmed safe, the automaker's president Akio Toyoda said on Friday.
Toyota joins Honda and Mazda in ditching the inflators which have led to the recall worldwide of tens of millions of cars and at least eight deaths, Reuters reported.
