The cost cuts included a reduction in the workforce and the company is now projecting a net loss of JPY1.1bn, up from the earlier estimate of JPY2.5bn.
The Kariya, Aichi Prefecture-based manufacturer kept sales projections for the business year unchanged at the 1.65 trillion announced on 3 February, Kyodo News said.
