The Construction Ministry has been developing AHS, which sends information
about road conditions to drivers, and the Transport Ministry has been working
on the development of ASV that warns drivers of obstacles by calculating distance
and speed.
Thirteen auto and motorcycle manufacturers are participating in the demonstrations
and DaimlerChrysler and Hyundai Motor have shipped in no fewer than 38 test
vehicles between them.
The demonstration will be held until December 1 and about 2,000 people from
automakers and ITS related manufacturers all over the world are expected to
join the ‘demo’.
