Mitsubishi Motor Corporation’s three car assembly factories in Japan will suspend production tomorrow (19 March) for the first time since the 15th though the automaker said production of parts and knocked-down assembly kits will continue as normal.
Car assembly will remain halted on 20 and 21 March but both day and night shifts will operate on Tuesday 22 March.
“As for 23 March and thereafter, operations will be carefully deliberated according to the surrounding circumstances,” MMC said in a statement.
