JAPAN: Pioneer’s net loss narrows to US$20.35m in Q1/FY2015

Pioneer’s net sales for the fiscal first quarter ended 30 June 2014 were up 3.73% to JPY113.33bn compared with JPY109.26bn in the fiscal first quarter ended 30 June 2013. Its operating income for the period was JPY265m compared with an operating loss of JPY7.57bn. The company’s loss before income taxes narrowed to JPY3m from JPY9.39bn in the year ago period. Net loss for the period narrowed to JPY2.09bn from JPY10.08bn in corresponding year-ago period.
