This time around, the petrol engine uses a supercharger that helps the powertrain deliver comparable power and torque to Nissan’s well-established, an well-liked VQ35 3.5-litre V6 while providing better fuel economy.

Company engineers said the torque curve for this new drivetrain is similar to that of the V6.
