AutoAsia Online said that Lehmann is currently general manager of Nissan’s sales operation support department and was in charge of marketing at Renault France before being moved to Nissan in 1999.
According to the website, Lehmann’s challenge is to turn Renault Japon, which took over from a local distributor in 2000, around.
Sales in the first half of 2002 dipped under 1,200 units, AutoAsia Online said, adding that outgoing president Roberto Pallotta is moving to Renault’s Italian unit.
