Japan’s Mitsuoka Motor plans to assemble its Himiko model in Thailand from September 2010, according to a company statement.
The company plans to sell the car across the ASEAN under the trade block’s preferential tariff system.

The Himiko is a convertible, 1930s retro-styled car. Mitsuoka is currently setting up a joint venture with a Thai partner and expects to make up to 5 units per month.
