Mitsubishi Motors Corp. on Friday reaffirmed its commitment to the United States, reportedly saying it doesn’t intend to leave the market, as some industry observers have predicted.
According to the Associated Press (AP), the automaker, which has a car plant in Normal, Illinois, denied in a statement that it had ever pursued such a possibility and called “groundless” a Wall Street Journal report that said it was seeking a buyer for its US operations.
