Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Co Corp, 65%-owned by DamlerChrysler, reportedly has lodged an application with Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to recall 392,093 trucks for defective parts, which caused two cases of bodily injury and two cases of property damage.


AFX News said the company will recall 91,524 trucks to fix defective tilt cabs, which caused one body injury accident and one property damage incident.


The truckmaker will also recall 53,717 trucks for defective wiring systems, which did not cause any accidents, while 246,852 trucks will be recalled to amend defective hazard lights, which caused one injury accident and one incident of property damage, the report added.
