Vehicle production in Japan rose 5.1% in July from a year earlier to 928,745 vehicles, the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA) said on Thursday.

The July rise followed a drop of 1.5% in June.
JAMA estimated that July exports rose about 15% from the previous year.
