Isuzu Motors is to recall about 110,000 trucks and buses because engine starters might be faulty and cause fires.
Kyodo News, citing a report from the truck maker to the Japanese transport ministry, said 10 cases had been reported up to April, with some engines catching fire.
Six models built between February 1998 and April this year are affected, including one built on an OEM basis for Toyota unit Hino, the news agency said.
