Five Japanese and foreign motor vehicle companies told the transport ministry
yesterday that they are recalling some 130,000 vehicles and scooters due to
potential defects, Kyodo News reported.
The recall involves Opel and BMW vehicles, Nissan and Isuzu minivans, and a
Yamaha scooter, according to the reports filed with the Land, Infrastructure
and Transport Ministry.
None of the five has reported accidents related to the defects, the Kyodo report
said.
