Japan’s domestic car production rose 10.8% in September from a year earlier to 917,323 vehicles, Reuters reported, citing figures from the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association (JAMA).


According to Reuters, JAMA estimated exports in September to have risen about 10% from a year earlier.


For the half year ended in September, JAMA said output rose 4.7% year-on-year to 4,990,820 vehicles, while exports rose around 15%.
