Japan’s
11 vehicle makers exported 351,907 cars, trucks and buses in April, down 13.4
percent from a year earlier, Kyodo News reported.

The Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association said that was the fourth straight
month of year-on-year decline.

Passenger car exports fell 15.1 percent to 304,661 vehicles while truck shipments
dropped 2.4 percent to 43,467.

There was good news, though, of bus exports which jumped 26.6 percent to 3,779
vehicles.
