Brembo’s net sales for the second quarter ended 30 June 2015 rose 15.3% to EUR524.6m (US$576.16m) from $454.8m in the same period a year ago.
Gross operating income was up 17.5% to $89.2m compared with $71.7m. Result before taxes was up 15.2% to $58.8m compared with $43.7m. Net result for the period was up 15.1% to $43.1m compared with $28.1m in the same period year ago.

Brembo’s net sales for the six months ended 30 June 2015 were up 15.2% to $1.03bn compared with $901.7m in the year ago period. Gross operating income was up 23.1% to $175m compared with $142.1m. Result before taxes was up 35.5% to $117.8m compared with $87m. Net result for the period was up 39% to $89m compared with $64m in the same period year ago.
Chairman Alberto Bombassei said: “In the individual markets, the main European countries continued to show a dynamic performance, particularly the UK, whereas North America and China once again reported strong growth rates.”
