“Iran Khodro produces a variety of cars such as Runna, Samand, Soren, Peugeot Pars and Peugeot 405 in Iraq”, said Ali Elmi IKCO Deputy CEO for Exports.

A drop in transportation fees and a more timely supply of spare parts are among reasons why Iran Khodro’s vehicles are becoming more popular in neighbouring Iraq.

Iskandariya is IKCO’s largest car plant outside its home market. The company says it hopes to reach an annual capacity of 20,000 units in the near future.
