Iran Khodro Company (IKCO) hopes to increase exports of Samand cars to Ukraine on a large scale.

Managing director Javad Najmeddin said: “The company plans to boost its Samand exports to Ukraine to 20,000 per annum,” IRNA news agency reported.

Najmeddin added, “IKCO exported 5,600 Samands to Ukraine during 2005-2009.”

IKCO is part of an Iranian exhibition at Kiev from 18-24 October.

It is showing its latest sedans – Dena and Runna.

At the exhibition, 50 Iranian companies are showing products and services.
