Inteva Products says it has opened a new technical centre in Bangalore, India. It says the centre of expertise expands Inteva’s technical capabilities and footprint in the region. The centre houses advanced engineering support, design, development, durability testing, and functional testing teams. These teams focus on developing and launching advanced technologies in roof systems, closures, and motors and electronics for Inteva’s global customers. The centre currently employs more than 200 research and development engineers, with plans for additional growth.

Since it was founded in 2008, Inteva has grown its global footprint with new facilities in regions acrosss the world. By the end of this year, the company will have opened new sites in five countries. In addition to Bangalore, Inteva has expanded its presence in Rychnov, Czech Republic; Oradea, Romania; Guanajuato, Mexico and Zhenjiang, China.
