Inteva has completed the sale of its Roof Systems product line to CIE Automotive.

The sale closed after several months of preparation and communications with affected employees, customers and suppliers.

Inteva acquired the Roof Systems business in 2011, when it purchased Arvin Meritor’s Light Vehicle Systems Business.

The company achieved industry recognition such as the International Innovation Award for its structurally integrated large panoramic sliding roof, presented by the European Association of Automotive Suppliers (CLEPA) in 2017.

Inteva Products will continue to provide Interior, Closure and Motors & Electronic Systems to more than 100 customers worldwide.

Formed in 2008, the supplier employs more than 8,000 people in 30 sites and maintains its World Headquarters in Troy, Michigan.
