Net revenue in the first three months rose by 6% to 7.43 trillion rupiah compared with the first three months of 2001.
Astra sold 34,516 cars in the first quarter of 2002, up 16% from last year. Its domestic market share increased to 46.7% from 43%.
The company, which builds Honda motorcycles, increased first quarter sales 75% to 315,034 units, compared with last year, taking its market share from 49% to 57%.
