Ford said its sales in South-east Asia rose by 5% to 100,824 vehicles in 2014, with record sales reported in the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia and Myanmar.

The regional increase came despite a sharp decline in its main market, Thailand, where overall sales are estimated to have declined by a third to below 900,000 units last year. Here, Ford’s sales fell by close to 26% to 38,087 units.
