Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced the proposed appointment of Naomi Ishii as the new managing director of TKM.
Naomi Ishii has spent over two decades at Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) primarily in human resources and business planning divisions. In his current position as general manager in TMC, he oversees the product and business planning divisions.

The current MD and CEO of TKM, Hiroshi Nakagawa will move back to Japan.
The formal appointment of the new MD will be made at the meeting of the board of directors of TKM, scheduled on 6 January 2014.
