Tata Motors has said it is expecting an over 50% leap in sales of its Ace family of light commercial vehicles (LCV) in the current fiscal year, due to strong demand.
Sales could reach 250,000. “Last year, we sold about [160,000] of our Ace family. This fiscal we are targeting up to [250,000], including exports,” Tata Motors CV sales chief Sandeep Kumar told the Economic Times of India.
Tata will launch two light commercial vehicles – Venture and Iris – early next year.
The Ace family includes Magic, Winger and Ace models made at the Panth Nagar facility.
The company also launched a new variant of its Winger.
