Tata Motors Group global sales including the Tata, Tata Daewoo and Hispano Carrocera range of commercial vehicles, Tata passenger vehicles and distributed brands in India, as well as Jaguar and Land Rover, totalled 91,608 models in June 2010, a growth of 46% compared to June 2009.
Cumulative sales for the fiscal period April 2010 – June 2010 – were 249,322 – some 50% higher compared to the corresponding period in 2009-10.
Sales of all commercial vehicles were 39,975 this June – a growth of 38%. Cumulative sales for the fiscal period were 111,298 – up 41%.
Sales of all passenger vehicles were 51,633 in June, up 53%, while cumulative sales for the fiscal period were 138,024, a rise of 58%.
Tata passenger vehicle sales, including distributed models, were 31,444 for the month, a growth of 58%. Cumulative sales for the fiscal period were 80,871, a growth of 57%.
Jaguar Land Rover global sales in June totalled 20,189 vehicles, up 47%. Jaguar sales for the month were 59% higher at 6,776, while Land Rover sales were 13,413, up 41%.
