Tata Motors is talking with a state government in east India for 300 acres of land to build a vendor park, a senior executive said on Thursday.

“We will be inviting vendors to set up their units there for easier sourcing of components for our trucks,” S Borwankar told Reuters, referring to the venture in Jharkhand state.
He spoke after announcing the launch of trucks from the new factory at Jamshedpur in the state.
