Tata Motors Group global wholesales, including Jaguar Land Rover, were 6% lower year on year in July at 85,392 units. Cumulative sales for the fiscal year to next 31 March were up 4% at 350,565.

Global sales of Jaguar Land Rover were flat at 19,119 vehicles. Jaguar sales slipped 23% to 4,372 while Land Rover sales rose 8% to 14,747. Cumulative fiscal year sales for both brands were up 6% to 81,209 with Jaguar down 26% to 15,715 and Land Rover up 18% to 65,494.

Global sales of all commercial vehicles – Tata, Tata Daewoo and the Tata Hispano Carrocera range – were up 16% to 47,238 in July. Cumulative sales for the fiscal rose 17% to 177,402.

Global sales of all passenger vehicles fell 24% to 38,154 in July 2011 while cumulative sales were off 7% at 173,163.
