Tata Motors Group global sales rose 39% year on year to 101,712 in March. Jaguar Land Rover sales rose 43% to 23,538 vehicles.

Cumulative sales for fiscal year 2009/10 were up 19% to 872,951.

Commercial vehicle sales rose 53% to 47,936 last month while cumulative fiscal year colume was up 37% to 413,057.

Passenger vehicle sales rose 28% to 53,776  and by 6% to 459,894 for the year.

Tata passenger vehicle sales were up 18% to 30,238 for the month and 24% to 265,912 for the year.

Jaguar sales in March were up 8% to 4,642 while Land Rover sales were 55% up to 18,896.
