Tata Motors reported that total sales, including exports, of its commercial and passenger vehicles in November totalled 54,622, growth of 1% over 54,108 vehicles sold in the same month last year.

Domestic sales totalled 50,419, also up 1%. Cumulative sales for the company for the fiscal year are running at 499,492, up 31% on 2009. 

Sales of commercial vehicles in November in the domestic market were 35,079, an increase of 19%, LCV sales were up 21% at 20,376. 

The passenger vehicles business reported total sales 16,365 (15,340 Tata and 1,025 Fiat models) in the domestic market in November 2010, down 28% with sales of the Tata Nano budget car dropping 85% over November last year to 509.

However, cumulative sales of the Nana are running ahead almost 200% on the year at 40,976.
