Volkswagen Group’s Porsche sportscar unit is expanding its dealer network in India.
It has just opened a new showroom in Gurgaon.
“We are all set to open another contemporary facility in Mumbai which will be followed later this year by a new one at Kolkata, Porsche India director Anil Reddi told the Press Trust of India.
He said the Gurgaon dealership has two levels of display space totalling 10,900 sq ft and can show up to 15 cars.
“The world class showroom is a tangible example of the commitment that Porsche has for the Indian market,” he was quoted as saying in an article published by Economic Times of India.
The company became India’s official importer on 1 April 2012 and now has a presence in eight cities.
