Nissan Motor India intends to strengthen its dealership network in the northeast part of the country by three to four times within next two years.
The plan is part of the company’s strategy to have 300 outlets across India in the next two to three years.
The company is looking to expand in all locations, reported The Hindu Business Line, citing PTI.
Arun Malhotra, managing director of Nissan Motor India said: “We are expanding our network very aggressively across the country. We have a plan to take our number of outlets to 300 touch points from 175 at present. As part of this plan, we will expand in north east. The expansion here will be faster as this market has a huge potential for our business.”
In Guwahati, the automaker has opened its second Nissan showroom.
At present, the carmaker has six outlets in the north eastern part of the country.
